The St Christopher's School community truly pulled together and proved that we embody the School's Mission of 'An Education for a Shared Humanity', by once again coming together to support a local cause.
The BSPCA (Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) announced that it was at risk of closing down after 40 years of supporting vulnerable animals in Bahrain and our community immediately responded.
The St Chris community raised an incredible BD 3,578 across the Primary and Senior Schools by hosting a PTO Bake Sale as well as through monetary donations from the ‘no uniform day’.
In addition to the monetary donation, families from the school community also donated large amounts of cat and dog food as well as other pet necessities to the BSPCA.
Thank you very much to the sponsors of the Bake Sale: Eastern Bakery, A Piece of Cake, Let Them Eat Cake and Anna's Pantry who donated lots of sweet treats to sell for charity and to the PTO for organising and running the sale.
Well done, St Chris!
