Welcome to St Christopher’s Infant School. We are very proud to be a British School in Bahrain, educating children from over 75 different nationalities to become ‘Role Models for the World’.
We believe our role in the Infant School is to instil in our children a deep love of learning and equip them with a solid foundation of essential skills. Our British-based curriculum is rich and varied, using a play-based approach to inspire and engage our children to be creative, explore ideas and think critically.
Our wonderful children experience a nurturing and stimulating environment, where our school mission of ‘Education for a Shared Humanity’ is central to our provision.
We believe we are one family and that we help one another to be safe, be kind, be respectful and be responsible - our four Infant Golden Rules. We teach children to be responsible for themselves, fostering independence, and to take responsibility on a wider scale, such as tackling environmental issues.
Every week there is something exciting happening in our School: from Victorian Day to Global Citizen Day; from dinosaur hunting in our ‘VR’ goggles to performing in one of our many cantatas - all of which contribute to making our school a very special place in which to learn.
We are fortunate to have World Class facilities in which to learn and play and our strive for continuous improvement means that we are always looking at ways of improving the learning experience for the children, whether through research-based practice, implementation of innovative teaching methods or the enhancement of our physical resources. We are a forward-thinking school which does not ‘sit still’.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, we look forward to welcoming you into our St Chris family.
