At St Christopher's School Bahrain we continue to show our commitment to international education by partnering with a number of international associations and community partnerships. As well as undergoing regular inspection by Penta International, a leading provider of inspections for British Schools Overseas as accredited by the UK Government.
The Standards for British schools overseas came into effect on 1 September 2010. They are modelled closely on The Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations, used in independent schools in England and thus enable comparisons to be drawn between British schools overseas and their counterparts in England. The inspection of British schools overseas is voluntary.
We are proud to have partnered with United World Schools, a UK based charity, to initiate and develop three sustainable schools in Cambodia and Nepal. A project which began in 2013, thanks to the kind efforts of the St Chris community, St Christopher’s now partners with Ka Narng Ket in Cambodia, and Gurase and Helu Besi in Nepal, to provide a safe and sustainable future for children who previously had limited or no access to formal education.
